At Bikes for Goodness Sake, we believe that every child deserves the joy and freedom of riding a bike. That’s why we love seeing companies like Chevron stepping up to make a difference!
In celebration of 100 years of production in the Permian Basin, Chevron teamed up with Bikes for Goodness Sake and The Boys and Girls Club of the Permian Basin, Texas to build and donate 100 bicycles to kids in the community. What started as a team-building initiative to assemble 70 bikes grew into a full-scale charity bike build event, honoring a century of service with a meaningful gift to donate bikes to local kids.
With the help of 400 Chevron employees, the bikes were built and delivered to the Boys and Girls Club of the Permian Basin, ensuring they reach the kids who need them most. It’s stories like these that showcase the power of community, generosity, and the simple joy of a bicycle.
