The Good people at Emerson and Bucks Bikes have helped Bikes for Goodness Sake to give away another seven bicycles to some children involved in the River City Youth Foundation of Austin, Texas. 

Dave Moffett  with Emerson in Austin, Texas led a team building exercise that involves building a bicycle.    Bucks Bikes will be supplying the bikes for the exercise and assisting with some expert Bike Assembly Love.  In support of the Communitity Emerson is donating funds to BFGS to supply bikes to the River City Youth Foundation.

Thank Goodness for companies like Emerson, people like Dave Moffett, and Bike Shops like Bucks Bikes that spread the Goodness of Bikes!

HomeTeam Pest Defense is having a Sales Conference in San Diego and part of it is a team building event.  Nothing like building a team by building a bicycle.

Dirk Korte of HomeTeam Pest Defense is organizing the event with the help of Gordon Klerks of the sponsoring bike shop in San Diego, Bicycle Warehouse.  Dirk contacted the USO to identify 7 military children that are in need to receive bikes out of the Goodness of HomeTeam Pest Defenses’ heart that recognizes that children of military serve too.  Here is a video link that explain more.

The Sales Meeting starts on December 1st and on December 3rd the children will receive their bikes at the Pest Defense Banquet.  The HomeTeam, Bicycle Warehouse, and the USO will honor these children and their families with a fitting tribute and the one thing that represents freedom to a child – a bicycle.

Emerson, Bucks Bikes and Bikes for Goodness Sake  is teaming up to share the Goodness of Bikes with The Theater Action Project.  Dave Moffett and Bobbie James with Emerson in Austin, Texas are leading  a team building exercise that involves building a bicycle.    Bucks Bikes will be supplying the bikes for the exercise and assisting with some expert Bike Assembly Love.  In support of the Communitity Emerson is donating funds to BFGS to supply bikes to The Theater Action Project.

The bikes will go to the high school members of their Changing Lives Youth Theatre Company so that they can have a way to transport themselves to rehearsal and performances each week. The Changing Lives Youth Theatre Company is a collaborative project between TAP and SafePlace of Austin, which works with youth to create an original, interactive play on the topic of dating and domestic violence.

Sprocket is giving away Bike Shop Quality bikes to children in the Dallas/Fort Worth and Temple area.  He wants to honor the sacrifice of these children in support of their parents.  These bicycles are a small token of freedom that these parents are fighting for.

Funding for these bicycles graciously comes from The Dallas Foundation and generous cyclists like you.

Sprocket is teaching Orphans to Ride a Bike!  Meet us at Brushy Creek Lake Park on Sunday July 5th at 2:00 pm (map).  Sprocket needs you help to teach 7 Orphaned Children from Columbia how to ride a bike.  Sprocket says “GIVE AND LET RIDE!”. 

After everyone is going on two wheels, Sprocket will lead the group on a short trail ride and get some refreshements.

Come meet a child and show they you care.

KidSave is sponsoring older orphans in Austin, Texas from Colombia.  They have little or no chance of finding adoptive parents in their own country.  While they are in Austin KidSave volunteers will be working to firnd permanent homes for these children.  Please spread the work and visit KidSave.org for more information.
